            TL;DR: Respirare does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device and in your private iCloud account.
        

Our Commitment to Your Privacy

Your privacy is extremely important to us. Respirare is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe that your breathing sessions, custom patterns, and personal wellness data belong to you and you alone.

What Data We DO NOT Collect

Respirare does not collect, transmit, or have access to:

Your breathing session history
Your custom breathing patterns
Your usage patterns or statistics
Your device information
Your location
Any personal information
Any analytics or tracking data
Crash reports or diagnostics

How Your Data is Stored

All your data in Respirare is stored in two places, both completely private to you:

1. On Your Device

App settings and preferences are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. This data never leaves your device.

2. In Your Private iCloud

If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your custom breathing patterns and session history are stored in your personal, private iCloud account. This means:

Only you can access this data
It syncs across your devices signed in with the same iCloud account
We (the developers) have absolutely no access to your iCloud data
You can disable iCloud sync in your iOS Settings at any time

In-App Purchases

Respirare offers optional in-app purchases to unlock additional features. These purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use Apple's StoreKit framework, which means:

Apple processes your payment information securely
We never see or store your payment details
Purchase verification happens entirely through Apple's systems

Third-Party Services

Respirare does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only third-party services used are:

Apple iCloud: For private data sync (optional, controlled by you)
Apple App Store: For in-app purchases (standard iOS functionality)

Children's Privacy

Respirare does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for all ages to use.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect your data, you have complete control:

Data Access: All your data is already on your device and in your iCloud
Data Deletion: Delete the app to remove local data, or disable iCloud sync to remove cloud data
Data Export: Your data is stored in standard iOS formats in your iCloud

Changes to This Policy

If we make any changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We will also notify users through an app update if there are significant changes.
